The Orphan is a suspense-thriller starring Vera Farmiga and Isabelle Fuhrman that takes you on a wild ride.  The cast, including the youngest actors portraying the children in the movie, did an excellent job with creating a believable world and conveying the feelings and emotions their characters were feeling and expressing.  There is so much tension in the movie you can feel it making your insides lurch as the action unfolds in front of you.

Director  Jaume Collet-Serra does a nice job allowing the story to quickly progress so that there are no long dead spots which keeps you interested in the story and characters throughout the movie.  The suspense will have you glued to the screen to see what her next unbelievable act is going to be and if she can pull it off without getting caught.

As the story progresses you see the orphan Esther change from an intelligent, bright young woman to something much, much different.  The trust people have for the little girl is amazing despite all the victims falling around her.  It sends a strong message about how much we trust people and how easy people are to deceive.  Be sure to check out this one anytime you want a good edge of your seat suspense-thriller!
