Recently, there has been a bit of a switch in Hollywood in regards to CGI effects, a sort of reversal of sorts. It seems that using good old fashioned techniques of making rubber suits and building real sets is coming back into style! That’s good news for anyone who is into actually getting dirty and making things with their hands. I’m not saying that creating and using CGI in films is a bad thing, it gives us stunning visuals that would be impossible to reproduce otherwise, but I think it has really been overused in recent blockbuster films.
